What is a batch label and when do I need it?

A batch label is a unique identifier that groups multiple shipments together under one label. When using Stallion Express, a batch label simplifies the management and processing of multiple packages, and when utilizing our third-party postage services.

Why You Need a Batch Label with Stallion Express:

1. Streamlined Bulk Shipping:
   • If you're shipping multiple packages at once, a batch label allows you to group them together, ensuring they are processed and handled as a single unit.
2. Simplified Tracking:
   • A batch label enables you to track all grouped shipments under a single tracking number. This consolidation makes it easier to monitor the status of your shipments, ensuring all packages are accounted for without the need to track each one separately.
3. Compliance with Stallion Express Requirements:
   • We require a batch label for all third party postage in order for the shipment to be processed.
      

 

How to obtain a batch label:

1. Create your shipment manifest via New Shipment (single flow) or import from store/file.
2. Select the shipment and click Batch to add it to a batch.
3. Click Close Batch and Download Batch label.
